  • effective removal of colour, taste, odour, concentrated minerals, pathogens, and other impurities
  • no requirement for ancillary chemical injection to adjust pH during or after treatment
  • no cleaning with detergents or chemical agents unlike other so called 'chemical-free' technologies
  • can be installed into an existing water supply network without requiring additional pumping equipment (no atmospheric transitions)
  • removes naturally occurring organic colour (DBP pre-cursor) from surface sources
