Decades of international design and plant construction and
operations experience have resulted in the emergence of Fay
Environmental and its solution to biological wastewater treatment -
the COMPACT. Fay has developed and branded an adapted operating
model of the conventional SBR biological treatment methodology.
Numerous installation and process development experiences have
helped shape and solidify this unique approach.
KEY FEATURES
The COMPACT is an Aerobic Biological Treatment System primarily
designed for the treatment of domestic and certain other types of
organic wastewaters. The process employed is known as an SBR method
with all major activity occurring in a single main aeration and
clarification basin (Sequential Batch Reactor). An overall plant
can be built-up of multiple independent SBR tanks.
